Why Commission a Painting?

Commissioning a painting is a wonderful way to acquire a unique piece of art that reflects your personal taste and vision. At Cotswold Galleries, we make the process of commissioning artwork both enjoyable and straightforward.

Personalisation. A commissioned painting allows you to collaborate with an artist to create a piece that perfectly complements your space and resonates with your aesthetic preferences.

Unique. Unlike mass-produced art, a commissioned piece is one-of-a-kind, adding a distinctive touch to your collection.

Emotional Connection. Being involved in the creative process fosters a deeper connection to the artwork, making it more meaningful and cherished.

Our Commissioning Process

1. Initial Consultation: We begin with a friendly discussion to understand your ideas, preferences, and the desired dimensions of the painting.

2. Artist Selection: Based on your vision, we’ll recommend artists from our gallery whose style aligns with your concept.

3. Proposal and Agreement: Once an artist is selected, they’ll provide a proposal outlining the project’s scope, timeline, and pricing.

4. Creation: The artist will create the painting, keeping you updated with progress and seeking your input as needed.

5. Delivery: Upon completion, we’ll arrange for the artwork to be delivered and, if desired, assist with installation.

Commissioning art is a collaborative and rewarding experience, resulting in a bespoke piece that you’ll treasure for years to come.
